CHARACTERISTIC PROPERTIES   MIC - 500 is a water - based, Vinyl Acetate - Acrylic Acid Ester Copolymer Emulsion. It is recommended to use for the production of interior Emulsion paints. It gives clear and flexible film when completely dried.   TYPE OF POLYMER : Vinyl Acetate - Acrylic Acid Ester Copolymer. SOLID CONTENT (%) : 50 ± 1 PH (at 25°c) : 4 - 6 VISCOSITY (at 25°c) (Brookfield LVDV-1)  : 1000 - 2500 Cps (Sp.3/30 rpm) MECHANICAL STABILITY : Positive STABILIZING AGENT : Nonionic PARTICLE SIZE : 0,5 - 1,0 micron. DENSITY (at 25° c) : 1,03 - 1,1 gr/ml. FILM APPEARANCE (at 25°c) : Clear, flexible.   APPLICATION   MIC - 500 is a kind of binder which it is successfully used for producing Interior Emulsion Paints and special Decorative Coatings. In order to produce Emulsion Paint, a lot of different type Vinyl-Acrylic Copolymer Binder can be used. If (MIC-500) is compared with the other Vinyl - Acrylic type binders, a lot of performance advantages are seen, such as, good mechanical stability, small particle size, good binding power and good film resistance.   STORING   MIC - 500 is a water - based and corrosive material, therefore, it should be kept in stainless steel, polyester containers or iron drums, plastic barrels with polyethlene innerlinings. It must be protected from freezing and direct sunlight. It is sensitive to temperatures below +5°c and above +35°c. It can be stored about six month under the recommended conditions.
