CHARACTERISTIC PROPERTIES   MARTUT MT 100 is a water - based, Vinyl Acetate Homopolymer Emulsion having 50 % solid content. It is absolutely free formaldehyde.   TYPE OF POLYMER : Vinyl Acetate Homopolymer. SOLID CONTENT (%) : 50 ± 1,5 PH (at 25°c) : 4 - 6,8 VISCOSITY (at 25°c) (Brookfield RVT)  : 15000 - 30000 Cps (Sp.6/10 rpm) MECHANICAL STABILITY : Positive STABILIZING AGENT : Polyvinyl Alcohol. DENSITY (at 20°c) : 1,02 - 1,15 gr/ml. FILM APPEARANCE (at 25°c)  : Transparent, semi-flexible, flexible.   APPLICATION   MARTUT MT 100 is aqueous, Vinyl Acetate Homopolymer Emulsion.It has high bonding strength hence, it is successfully used as wood, furniture, paper and cardboard adhesive. In order to increase the bonding strength and decrease the drying time, some specific materials are used in the formulation. Surfaces to be applied should be throughly freed of dust, dirt, etc.Adhesive should be stirred before applying on to the surface. Applications can be realized with brush or roller. The wood pieces must be kept under pressure until drying is achieved.   STORING   It is a corrosive material therefore it should be kept in stainless steel, polyester containers or iron drums, plastic barrels with polyethylene innerlinings.It is sensitive to temperatures below +5 ?c and above + 40 ?c. It must be protected from freezing and direct sunlight. It can be stored about six month under the recommended conditions.
