APPLICATION

MARTUT ST 310 is a water - based, Styrene-Acrylic Copolymer Emulsion. It is successfully used as a binder in the formulation of Interior - Exterior Emulsion Paints, Ready Made Plasters, Natural stone plasters, Special Decorative Coatings and Satin Paint.

Due to its special Chemical Structure and fine producing system, it exhibits good resistance to water, alkali and other chemical materials. The Minimum Film Forming Temperature of this product is approximately 0 °c. It gives clear, flexible and bright film when completely dry. In Mastic production systems and special applications, in order to obtain more flexible film, some plasticizers such as Texanol or Butyl Carbitol Acetate can be added to the recipe.

This products water resistance test result is excellent. If it is used in Indoor or Outdoor emulsion Paint formulation as a binder, satisfactory Wet - Abrasion test result is obtained.

STORING

MARTUT ST 310 is a water - based and corrosive material therefore, it should be kept in stainless steel, polyester containers or iron drums, plastic barrels with polyethylene innerlinings. It must be protected from freezing and direct sunlight. It is sensitive to temperatures below +5°c and above +35°c. It can be stored about six month under the recommended conditions.
